Licensed General Contractor

Let’s be honest, Malcolm is a much better ambassador. However, he lacks an opposable thumb and can’t turn on the headlamp, so in steps Peter. In addition to being a licensed general contractor and home inspector, Peter has over 20 years of leadership experience in a customer focused travel company. This unique combination of practical home constructions know-how and a significant background in service allows Good Dog Home Inspections to deliver exceptional service that adds value to your home listing or buying decision making process.
Malcolm brings over 5 years of inspection experience. He inspects just about everything, just about all the time, and with tremendous enthusiasm. He aims to please, and please he does. He comes from a long line of great river bank and home inspectors in the Sacramento area. He’s inspected just about all of Northern California, including Carmichael, Arden-Arcade, Auburn, Lake Tahoe, Napa, and all points in between. There is no inspector that is more thorough. He is, quite honestly, the ultimate Sacramento home inspector. We’re super proud to have him on our home inspection team.
We love all the Good Dogs we meet along the way at our home inspections.
Piper is confident, smart, and super gentle with other dogs and little humans too. She also happens to have a crush on Malcolm, so we are monitoring this situation closely. She just moved into her new home and has apparently adjusted to her new surrounding with the ease of all good Shepherds.
Another Good Dog we met along the way. Penny was rather curious, and possibly not too sure about our presence. We felt much better about our lot in her life when the mail man came a knocking. It was like a cartoon with her paws scratching and scrambling on the hardwood floor with no forward progress for what seemed like an eternity. She did get to the door eventually, but the mail man was gone. Floors holding strong, somehow, someway. Don’t mess with Penny!
Can you believe two Penny’s in one week? Well, this Penny didn’t want us to pick her up, even for good luck. In fact, we didn’t know she was home. She’s a King Charles “No Fear” Cavalier renegade and steer clear. It’s the end of the world as she knows it. A newly inspected home and she’s going to love it!
Casper is way nicer than those lower teeth would have you believe. “Part Cocker, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, etc, etc…..just call him a true American Mutt” – Casper’s Dad.
A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll, and a whole lot of love. Maybe a Zeppelin mix? For some reason, this girl just loved us. Maybe it was the treats.
Another Good Dog (duo) we met along the way. Covid has brought many Good Dog’s into the fold of homes we’ve inspected recently. Meet Lu Lu and her brother Jax. According to their dad, Lulu is a fun loving, very active 1 1/2 year old Mini Aussie Doodle who “loves talking smack to other dogs and no one can chase her down.” Jax is a ten year old Cavalier King Charles who “loves sleep, hates walks, and will work for treats.” Another Cavalier that needs to speed it up a notch (REM references abound!).
Give Back Friday’s are the best days!
Hulk is just incredible. I witnessed him dragging his owner down the street as we were finishing up their report. He’s a Boxer and he’s got tremendous power, as if he’s been training for decades. He will also put a licking on you, like a left jab.
